Citronnade 2013

Ah, the Citronnade

This year I knew from the start it would be a great time - just from the cast of characters going with me. :)

I love the parade of cars! The sound of all the horns makes makes me smile. Caro makes me laugh hysterically!

We took a boat to Collioure. It was cloudy and it's always windy at sea.

Seeing the clouds beneath the mountain tops was quite beautiful.

I love this little town- cobblestone walkways, the architecture, many cafés and restaurants, many shops with a great variety of items and always the sea nearby.

Today there was a race.

La sardane, a traditional dance of Catalone. (In English it's translated as Sardana.)

On the way back I saw a single dolphin make a beautiful arc in the distance. No photo, but it will remain in my mind forever. I felt blessed to see it.

We also passed near the Navivoile.

The highlight was the supper on Saturday night. The French know how to have fun! Having dinner with my friends, made some new friends, several impressive dancers, took lots of pictures, lots of laughter- a great night. I'm very happy this night. :)

It looks like a great time. I love how you not only got the scenery, but the people who make it personal.
