Another Purse Duck adventure...
I had never been to any kind of convention before so I really didn't know what to expect. Silly me, I thought for sure I would spend all my evenings on the beach... then I totally got sucked into the Whovian vortex. The people were amazing!! Incredibly creative, friendly, interesting mix- I loved it.
My first encounter was with this guy. He wins my award for most authentic impersonation. He was so nice, too. He posed for several photos for us and even made a video. I love how he came up with the message for Cassie right on the spot.
I met so many interesting people!! They were my favorite part of the con- more than any of the guests or panels, easily.
Quite a few Doctors- including a ginger and regenerating!
This was a gift from Vincent. They looked great and I asked for a picture. I told them to interact with the duck however those wanted. Vincent pulled out his pad and I thought he was pretending to paint- I was quite surprised when he finished this- a perfect gift for Cassie! :)
A very witty dalek!
The Temporal Riffs were always entertaining. :) They were fun to interact with and generous about posing for photos. Their show cracked me up- Les Mis/Doctor Who... of course!... and Captain Jack is full of surprises...
With a nice long list of guests and a wide variety of panels, there's always a nice selection of interesting programs to choose from- that's if you can tear yourself away from the halls and LobbyCon...
Actors, and writers, and techies... oh my!
I loved their interaction :)
Any panel with Terrance Dicks promises to be interesting. (paraphrasing here) In his time, they only did one rewrite. If there was a problem after that, he would fix it.
Heckle's pretty funny, too. Just ask Marlene. :)
